PHINIA’s alternative fuel innovations take center stage at the 2025 Vienna Motor Symposium

  • PHINIA to showcase advancements in alternative fuel solutions at the Vienna Motor Symposium
  • Expert sessions will cover next-generation fuel injection and emissions control, including high pressure GDi, hydrogen injection, and aftertreatment solutions

Vienna, Austria - May 12, 2025 - PHINIA Inc. ( NYSE:PHIN), a leader in premium fuel systems, electrical systems, and aftermarket products is set to showcase an exciting lineup of next-generation technology at this year’s prestigious International  Vienna Motor Symposium, running from May 14-16 at the Hofburg Conference Centre.

Hosted annually, the International Vienna Motor Symposium attracts over 1,000 global automotive industry leaders to discuss and showcase advancements in vehicle technology and sustainable mobility solutions. Returning for its second year as an independent entity, PHINIA will spotlight its latest innovations in fuel system development, with a focus on alternative fuels including hydrogen, ethanol, methanol, and compressed natural gas (CNG) through a range of live speaker sessions and at the PHINIA booth.

Visitors to the PHINIA booth can also explore PHINIA’s suite of high-performance sustainable fuel system solutions, including the hydrogen direct injection system, high-pressure gasoline direct injection (GDi) solutions such as the 500 bar fuel system, and innovative heated-tip injector technology for Ethanol E100 fuel.

PHINIA will take the stage at the Vienna Symposium with a series of expert-led presentations showcasing its latest findings in sustainable mobility:

  • Thursday, May 15: At 4 PM local time in the Galerie, PHINIA will present developments in high-pressure fuel injection systems and emission control solutions, demonstrating how these technologies are driving the industry shift toward carbon-neutral powertrains.
  • Friday, May 16: Taking place in the Zeremoniensaal at 2:30 PM local time, PHINIA will host a collaborative session exploring hydrogen internal combustion engines (H2ICE) and the latest in hydrogen direct injection, aftertreatment technologies, and thermal management strategies to meet stringent global emissions standards.
  • Friday, May 16: PHINIA’s Chief Technology Officer, Todd Anderson, will deliver a talk on sustainable future fuels, outlining PHINIA’s strategy to support automotive decarbonization at 3:30 PM local time in the Festsaal.
