Sustainability Summary
Our Products
We recognize that innovation across our product portfolio is one of the biggest contributions we can make to enable a cleaner future. Our investments in alternative fuel technologies support the transition to lower and zero-carbon fuels, while we continue to meet the broad needs of our customers with a full range of ICE (internal combustion engine) and hybrid fuel systems, electrical systems, and aftermarket components through our brands DELPHI®, DELCO REMY® and HARTRIDGETM.

Environment
ENVIRONMENT
Advancing sustainability through product engineering, innovation, and development, while reducing the environmental footprint of our operations.
Product Engineering
Central to our business is designing and developing products that enable ICE systems to run at peak efficiency and with lower carbon emissions.
Fuel Efficiency and Alternative Fuels
From optimizing fuel efficiency at a systems level to developing lower-carbon and other alternative fuel technologies, we're advancing decarbonization.
Aftermarket
Our aftermarket parts help enable existing ICE and electric vehicles (EV) to maintain fuel and energy efficiency, meet the latest emissions standards, and extend their lifespan.
Circular Economy
Our Design for Environment process seeks to quantify and reduce lifecycle emissions of new products across raw material sourcing, production, distribution, use and operation, and disposal or remanufacturing.
Facilities and Operations
In 2024, we invested in a robust energy monitoring infrastructure, implemented a global energy analytics dashboard, and strengthened site-level accountability to continually advance operational excellence and sustainability performance, today and into the future.
Energy Reduction
As part of our energy reduction strategy, annual energy consumption was decreased by 4.5% in 2024 compared to 2023. Our energy intensity improved by 1.8% in 2024 compared to 2023.
GHG Emissions
Our goal is to drive projects that not only reduce energy consumption, but also catalyze a net reduction of GHG emissions across our facilities. Scope 1 and 2 emissions decreased by 11.7% in 2024 from 2023, and by 36% from 2020. As a result, our GHG intensity has improved by 9.2% in 2024 compared to 2023.

Social
SOCIAL
Advancing, empowering, and supporting people through talent and development programs, health and safety initiatives, total rewards, and community engagement.
Total Rewards
We believe in supporting the well-being of our employees. Through our “YOU Matter” total rewards program, we provide a variety of resources and benefits to maintain physical and mental health, protect income, and enable a healthy work-life balance.
By being there for our employees, the following sites have been recognized as a ‘Great Place to Work’: Brusque and Piracicaba in Brazil, and San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
Learning and Development
Our people are our greatest asset. To help advance their development and skills, we support them with learning opportunities and individual training plans that are designed to be accessible, scalable, and available both online and in-person.
ADVANCING
OUR CULTURE
At PHINIA, we recognize that cultivating a culture that is open, safe, inclusive, and engaged not only benefits our people, but also drives greater business success.
Engagement
We love to hear what our people have to say and are active in encouraging their input. In 2024, leaders and employees engaged in over 250 fireside chats, and we achieved 84% participation in our global employee engagement survey, empowering open conversations and continual improvement.
Inclusion
Our unique backgrounds are our strengths. By promoting a culture of inclusion, we’re able to drive innovation, enable effective collaboration, attract the best talent, and build better connections with our customers, all the while making our workforce feel valued and respected.
Health and Safety
Promoting safety is a top priority. Through comprehensive safety management systems, ongoing employee training, our CEO Safety Awards, and other global initiatives, our Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) for 2024 was 0.18, which is within the highest-performing quartile of TRIRs for our manufacturing sector.

Governance
GOVERNANCE
Advancing our commitment to conducting business ethically and honestly by holding ourselves accountable to high standards in our interactions with each other.
Ethics, Integrity, and Compliance
Integrity is one of the core PHINIA values. In 2024, we made several significant policy, process, and program developments so we can continually enhance our business ethically, compliantly, and closely in keeping with our values.
“By communicating frequently with employees about Ethics & Compliance topics, we ensure that compliance remains top of mind and reinforce our shared commitment to acting with integrity.”
David Ludington, Chief Compliance Officer
Supply Chain Responsibility
Responsibility within our supply chain is more than meeting basic regulations; it is also actively working with our partners to ensure ongoing improvement.
By implementing a structured supplier scorecard and self-assessment questionnaire (SAQ), we’re able to evaluate sustainability performance, identify suppliers who need support, and then provide them with tools, resources, and training to enhance their practices.
3P Partnership Program
In 2024, we launched the PHINIA Partnership Program (3P), a world-class partnership recognition initiative for our OE (original equipment) direct material supply base. This program is designed to further strengthen our supplier relationships by recognizing excellence in performance, collaboration, and environmental, social, and governance alignment.
ADVANCING
OUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Through responsible sourcing, data protection and cybersecurity, and product quality and safety, we’re continually striving to improve sustainability performance and mitigate risks.
Responsible Sourcing
We focus on ensuring that the materials used in our products are ethically sourced and free from conflict-related risks. In 2024, over 90% of our in-scope suppliers completed the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT), an assessment that supports transparency and due diligence in our supply chain.
Data Protection and Cybersecurity
PHINIA’s cybersecurity and data protection policies, processes, and strategies are informed by regulatory and business requirements, prior experiences, and industry practices. We continually assess our policies, cyber threat surveillance, system safeguards, and employee training initiatives to help protect the company and our stakeholders.
Product Quality and Safety
We seek to consistently provide products and services that meet or exceed customer expectations and applicable customer requirements in both quality and safety performance.
Awards and Certifications
The PHINIA Quality Award recognizes facilities that embody our commitment to excellence, achieving outstanding warranty performance and customer satisfaction. Our Blois, France, manufacturing and technical facility received our second annual PHINIA Quality
Award with no zero-kilometer quality issues throughout 2024.
